If you’re joining us with a group block or planning a weekend visit during our vibrant season from May to October, a 7-day notice is kindly requested. Your stay at The Grove starts before you arrive. 48 hours prior to check-in, we’ll authorize the full cost of your reservation on the credit card on file.
At check-in, a $250 security deposit will also be authorized to cover any unexpected plot twists. Think damages, extra cleaning, or unpaid room charges. If your stay is smooth sailing, this authorization is released after check-out, with funds typically returning to your account within 72 hours, depending on your bank.

Please bring a valid photo ID and the credit card used for your booking. For everyone’s safety and sanity, these must match the details on your reservation. No match, no boarding pass.

A note of care: In the spirit of safety and preparedness, please consider that in the event of a fire emergency, the elevator will not be operational. As we cherish your safety but are not staffed around the clock, “self-evacuation” from upper floors should be a consideration for those requiring additional assistance. Your well-being is paramount, and we encourage all our guests to plan with peace of mind.
If you’re staying in Kingsville, getting around is easy. Local taxi service is available, and downtown Kingsville is very walkable with shops, restaurants, and cafés just steps away.
Colchester, however, plays by small-town rules. There’s no Uber, Lyft, or regular taxi service, so planning ahead is essential.
If wine country is on your agenda, we highly recommend pre-booking a wine tour or private transportation. Local operators like Grapevine Tours know the region well and make winery hopping effortless (and safe).
